PASS is a huge organization with a lot of facets and opportunities and you’re looking for some direction on how to find and navigate them.  This session will talk about different ways to get involved in local user groups, virtual chapters, and SQLSaturday.  You’ll learn how to navigate the PASS website to find these free learning opportunities and signup for communications from them.  You’ll also learn how to find volunteer activities and become active in the SQL Server Community.

Ryan Adams is a SQL Server MVP and has worked for Verizon for 17 years. His primary focus is the SQL Server Engine, high availability, and disaster recovery. Previously, he was a Senior Active Directory Architect and designed the company's worldwide Active Directory infrastructure. He serves on the Board of Directors for the North Texas SQL UG and is President of the PASS Performance VC. He is a PASS Regional Mentor and holds these certifications: MCP, MCSA, MCSE, MCDBA, MCTS, and MCITP.
